Heat 3: Tom Hartmann, Andrew Fawcett, Will Ward, Jose Romero
Heat 3 saw excellent conditions, but dropping wind. Will Ward took a lot of risk, didn´t take care too much about the heavy Sunday traffic at the peak and took many waves. He had a lot of speed in his turns and got the highest score of the day, with 37 points. Andrew Fawcett from Cornwall, like Will also a Witchcraft rider - came for the third time to Fuerteventura´s North Shore, impressed with high skills and a lot of routine in the waves and scored 31,5 points for his presentation. Tom Hartmann followed in third, but he was a bit unlucky, as he lost his board and had to swim in the last 10 minutes of the 30 minute long heat, not being able to get points. Jose Romero, the young Gran Canaria local, struggled a bit in the difficult conditions, but still got some nice waves to ride.

Internship for student engineers-Update

We reguarly have a vacancy for student engineers on Fuerteventura. We have various intersting R&D projects for an engaged engineer in training. Knowledge of CAD/CAM and CFD is preferred but also other fields can be interesting.
The position is still free from now till august. Applications for years to come are also welcome. Preferred period is 5-6 months.
The main working language is english, spanish is not necesary.

Hi Bouke,

I have just returned from a 3 week trip to Reunion.

A fantastic place but unfortunately the tradewinds had decided to play games with us so the first 2.5 weeks were windless (first time in more than 15 years according to the locals).

We managed to get a taste of the famous Ravine Blance though - and what a rush! :)

One og the locals told us he also had a Witchcraft (a xhdd) - and it just seemed unbreakable. 2 years of wavesailing on one of ......

Optional No Wind Garantee for the period of 1 september till 28 february: Pre bookings of one week or more to pay per sailable day* with a minimum of one day/week. 65 €/sailable day windsurf complete, 36 € board only. Once booked, this can not be changed with less than 2 weeks notice.

This arrangement will ensure the customer to get the desired equipment and save him/her from collecting and returning the equipment each day there is wind, reducing costs if there is no wind.
