Video of Wave riding @ Majanicho

We´ve got a new video on youtube of us sailing in our "backyard", the North Shore, Fuerteventura.
We had just a nice row of 6 days east wind, which is slightly cross off @ Majanicho, a world class pointbreak on the north shore of Fuerteventura.

Most of the filming was done on sunday, 21-dec-2008.
In the morning the wind was 22 knots cross off shore and quite a few people out. Later on the wind went down to 15 knots and most people left the water. I should have changed to bigger equipment but as by then there was only me, Thomas Traversa (on a 4.2) and an unknown tourist out, it was still easy to get good waves and with the wind being cross off, there was enough power. Later on the wind picked up again and people came back out.
Majanicho is a deep water reef which breaks quite far out, so when filming you need a lot of zoom. In the footage from across the left side of the bay you can see Lanzarote in the background.
The photographs were taken on the day before.
